i never see anything bad in people around me, i always compare myself to whatever their best trait is
all i see is one friend is doing good in school, one is making more money, one has better physique, one is richer, one is lower inhib
but i can never notice and remember that they have flaws too
so it feels terrible

I see the bad often but i'm a very forgiving person even if they wrong me.

here i see envy, but this person has cel in their nickname and is probably lonely without friends on the forum or otherwise, so I understand why they say that.
One's a 60 year oldcel the other is a 13 year old NT teen
here i see attention seeking, but this is a guy who is probably lacking in any distinctive attributes that would make him stand out, so I understand why he has to play the cool guy to offset that.

well if you focus only on the peoples better traits you feel insecure
also seeing bad in people is just needed, if someone starts attacking you verbally, if you see the shortcomings you can hit back

true. but you're gonna see that regardless if they have them and you don't live in a cave. So the only way is to recognize your own strengths and accept that you can't have all the cards in the deck.

I try not to do that cause it makes you the same as them. And I also realize where they're coming from. People do everything for a reason, even if they're not aware; it's always a reflection of something wrong inside them. Personally I have a spiritual lens on this, so I believe there is no free will and everything is the will of god, but even in modern science you have the view that your subconscious mind decides everything before you even know
