Completely relaxed face vs activated facial muscles face

Why do I look so much better when my face is more activated and ''locked in''? I have much better under eye support and overall eye area and cheekbones also look better where as when I have a totally relaxed face like a deer in a headlight look I look much worse and my under eye are is much more poor and everything looks worse?

Is it larping when you say that youre ''locked in'' look is your real look? Its like the soft tissue in my face is compensating very well for my facial bone structure. Any opinions? What are your thoughts?

Youre saying that humans in nature didnt have a relaxed looking face and more tensed? So having completely relaxed facial muscles is unnatural ?

Precisely in nature you’d always be squinting either because of sun ,Cold or wind it’s much more natural
