Wait for laptops to use the new processors and graphics cards that came out this year. Probably in like january or so

The coronavirus pandemic caused a laptop shortage on the market, all kids are now taking online classes, and the cheapest laptops were the first to disappear from stocks, go for medium or high-level laptops if you want better technology.

Technological progress as far as PCs has definitely slowed down drastically in the last 10 years or so

I remember in the 2000s that the amount of RAM in the average computer would drastically increase every year.

A good computer built in 2010 would probably still be usable in 2020.

A good computer built in 2000 would have struggled in 2010.

Definitely gotten noticeable lately that transistor technology has hit it’s wall
