Hi, I’ve been using a topical steroid on my nose for the past couple of weeks and have seen very good results. Over the past few months, my face has also become more projected, and my nose currently looks good honestly, I would have been satisfied with this outcome years ago.

That said, I’m still planning to get a rhinoplasty in the future because I want the result to be as close to perfect as possible. I’m concerned about whether skin thinning from the topical steroid could affect my eligibility for rhinoplasty or negatively impact the final results.

Would it be better for me to stop using the steroid and wait until I turn 18 before pursuing surgery?

You should stop it, you might have healing issues and the surgeon will be...

You should stop it, you might have healing issues and the surgeon will be limited on what he can do in the surgery.

I heard healing time is quicker for thinner skin though
