Confidence is more important than looks

I am not saying that looks isn't a plus or that butt-ugly people can have whomever they want as long as they have confidence, but I am saying that it's more important.

I have people drool over unconventional looking people, while at the same time, pay no attention at all to the conventionally attractive person.

But why was this? It was because the unconventional looking person had confidence, while the conventionally attractive person didn't.

I am a person who have been told that I was ugly my entire life. Most of my life I believed it. I believed that no-one would ever find me attractive. Yet once I gained confidence and stopped believing that, I was surprised of the people who found me attractive and was interested in me.
