Whether u can swallow the confidencepill or not, a woman is instinctively attracted to a guy who hold up for himself and stay stoic and prepared in unpleasant situations. It is biological. They are subconsciously looking for a man who can take the helm when they are vulnerable with kids.
Confidence tells people that you value yourself. If you lack confidence that will just 'give them the feeling' that you don't have much to offer. This all occurs on more of a subconscious level, though. They're not actually thinking that directly, just getting that sense, and they may not be able to tell you why. They'll just say something like "We don't click," or "I'm not feeling it."
But that's essentially the reason. If YOU don't think you have value, why should THEY think that?
That's why confidence is so essential to being able to connect socially.
