so this study says that Systemic isotretinoin treatment seems to make cartilage thinner.
however this studysays completely opposite "Systemic isotretinoin seems to make cartilage thicker."

Most studies are like this and contradictory, How can we trust anything nowadays

you can sway a study to look how you want it to look

exp billy ate 5 eggs and we tracked his hdl to see if it went down, and it did
exp billy ate 5 eggs and we tracked his hdl to see if it went up and it did

both look identical with dif result but the control group could be doing fuck all, drinking, smoking, overeating saturated fat, have health conditons not mentioned, etc. while one doesnt

thats why you need a large scale double blinded placebo study

if studies are contradictory then take it away that the differences are literally minimal/negligible. raw milk vs pasteurized milk for an example

study 1 has a larger sample size so technically it would be more reliable

researching isnt just reading what you want to believe, theres a hierarchy on which studies are more reliable
