Considering my lip width is marpe and dame worth it? Marking helpful reply as solution

I've seen threads about DIY with a lip-widening device and also know about a commissuroplasty, which is not realistic for one. This procedure isn’t even done on people without deformities and at least scarring. That looks hideous. I feel like the only realistic solution is expansion, but the doctor I’m going to really does expand 10 mm plus, but he transforms people faces. It completely turns them from boys to a man, changing the lip width and the smile width. Let me know if it’s worth it. I have to fake a half smile everywhere I go; my resting face is like a 1.2 - 1.3 mouth-to nose ratio, which a smile, of course can change this but I don’t wanna run around everywhere grinning ear to ear, but my sister has a resting wide mouth amazing ratios. It kills me. Whyyyyy?

I heard a 37 - 38 mm is the cut off if your under that than you can expand will measure by biting down on folded paper and measuring the mm from each molar to see, I will cancel my consultation if it is but I think it is ngl just off this

SOme ppl might disagree but It would likely just be a looksmin if you widened it any more tbh. im probably not the best person to answer tbf

if u want marpe just measure your palate inorder to make sure its narrow otherwise its unlikely that they would approve marpe
