Continue cutting or do i bulk first

17 turning 18. 6’1. 195 lbs.

Right now I am on a calorie deficit of 1943. However i am thinking of going on a year long bulk and just looking ugly for that year so that i could cut after and keep most of the muscle. However i dont know if it would be best for me to continue my deficit or to bulk. And if there is any other things i should do to gain muscle.

You will not go on a "bulk" when you have no muscle mass ; keep building on top of what you currently have. You are skinny fat and you need to build your muscles first. Just eat clean and not in a huge deficit nor a big surplus, give your body the nutrients it needs.

Diet is not the only answer to building muscles.
