I've been contemplating shifting my focus from trying to be as strong as possible, to having an aesthetic physique, by getting more lean, which will obv tank my numbers a little bit. I am decently strong for my age. Squat is 465, bench is 300ish and deadlift is around 520-530. Although these are decent numbers, they are by no means top level, and I feel like for the amount of time and effort I put into this shit, I am not getting enough results in return. I am not high bodyfat, still have abs. veins and pretty good definition, especially with a pump, but being gigalean just mogs to hella. Would still focus on bench and deadlift, but prob reduce squat focus.

I am not entirely sure if this is what I wanna do, kinda wanna get an external opinion. I do find a lot of enjoyment in getting stronger, but rn im not fucking with the "high" bodyfat % and I can't even bench 3 plates:lul:
 
Looking good is by far the most important thing.

Nobody cares how much you can bench

didn't really say that as a flex, but yeah I agree looks matter more outside of the gym, I just really enjoy the progress

You can still progress on bodybuilding movements

Beat your lat pulldown score. Why does it have to be SBD
 
Looks matter more than powerlifting strength unless you're so good at it that you can make good money from it

I don't give a fuck about my fucking lat pulldown, and I obviously progress that shit too. Im just a sbdcel ngl, I only really care about my strength in sbd and other pressing movements idk why:lul:

Yeah well SBD is just arbitrary if anything you should care about your lat pulldown more than your deadlift or whatever since the former improves your life

So focus on looks then as it will give you way more benefit in life plus you're less likely to get hurt from bodybuilding style training than powerlifting.
