People have this thought that kids are at their worst in middle school
Sure in middle school there is bullying and drama, and people are leaving their childhood selves behind and going through puberty for the first time
But for the most part, despite all that, middle schoolers generally are inclusive and hang out with anybody
High school is when people become socially exclusive, and won’t even talk to you unless you can boost their social status in some way
In college, it is high school to a more extreme extent, where social hierarchies become ignoring altogether if you’re deemed unworthy
