It’s tough being a second-gen “immigrant”, because you are not accepted in the country you live in, not the country your ancestors called home. My relatives over there call me “Chinese” or “white” to signal that I am an outsider. But that’s interesting to know about Latin American attitudes towards backgrounds. Speaking of Latin Americans, I think you’re super lucky to be from the country you are since they are far away from those dangerous cartels. whatever you do don’t do pre-k too elementary, i hated dealing with little kids around that age when i used too work as a lifeguard, id assume they just don’t listen and cry and bitch 24/7.

You’re right, they absolutely do that. I witnessed it myself first-hand. My weakest point is still classroom management. I guess it’s because I’m high inhib and timid. Is it even possible to get to that level while staying high inhib, or do I have no choice but to lower my inhibition as time goes on?

Yeah I’m staying away from pre-k/elementary. I don’t like kids, they are just annoying to deal with. I dunno how those women do it. But yeah I had the same experience teaching 7th grade where they just didn’t listen. Brootal. It was an eye-opening experience so I don’t think teaching is for me.
