I’ve been on accutane for about 3.5 months and im 3600/7200mg it’s just not getting better I’m not rly breaking out but it’s worse than when I started and I have 2 months left (60mg) but my derma said at this rate I’m going to have to continue for longer than my dose - is he capping and saying treatment failure in the kindest way possible

your 15, keep on accutane, but start doing skincare too, give it time. my mate was on it and it took him a year so

+ retinol will help you with scarring and skin quality

accutane takes ages to have complete effects, in my first few months on a 30mg dose, I had slight improvements in severity of my breakouts yet still had it. If you are struggling with acne after ~6 months try a laser acne treatment, also make changes to your diet and drink plenty of water, lowering cortisol helped for me, and changing pillow cases more often also helped.

for me i stopped eating bad shit (junk food/chips+chocolate) and it all went away

dont rope once your skin clears i could see you at high mtn-low htn-good eye area

bro i had pretty bad acne and what fixed it for me was NUKING my DHT and erasing TWO things from my diet completely (that are pretty hard to eliminate).

Hop on Finasteride ASAP.
Never drink or eat any Milk derivatives EVER again.
Cut out sugar completely. Specially sweets like chocolate.
Also stop jerking off more them once a week, it spikes prolactin that stimulates 5 alpha reductase and makes your DHT go through the roof.
Another thing dermas would kill me for saying, but when a pimple appears take a hot shower, make your pores open and the skin soften and very quickly remove that bitch. when i started doing this i would remove the pimple and it would be gone in the next day. if i let it there, it just kept growing and growing and growing for in the end to blow up in a infectious mess that would leave a scar.

I guarantee if you do this ur acne is gone in two weeks.

Them in 2 months when theres only the scars, you gotta do microneedling for some time and them get laser resurfacing

just stop jerking off cause of mental reason. i dont know if it will help skin. when my acne was worse i noticed that jerking off made my acne worse however the root cause is probably diet. my acne is bad too but not as bad as yours. if you only eat these foods im sure it will get better tho
