Im 16 male and ive been in braces for about 1.7 years and getting out soon, how do i convince my ortho to give me RPE or any other palate expander/ application??

Dude my palate is narrow and I am about to get mse, but yours is like 2/3 of mine. It will help your health so much to get a second opinion

Well it all falls under Marpe, Its like an umbrella term. Late teens and just if you have a narrow face in general externally you should beg for mse because it can reduce dental tipping which is good especially if you need a large amount of expansion which you likely do. Mse is more anchored to the bone rather than the teeth allowing for that.
