Cooking ethnic food is so difficult

I love cooking, its one of my favorite hobbies. However cooking ethnic food is a nightmare. The recipes always require a billion ingredients that you can only find in the most niche areas on the planet. It will be shit like "in order to make this pork sandwich you will need to climb the top of mount Hei and defeat the celestial emperor of the jade sect, in order to claim the precious millennium dragon tears to serve as a base for the sauce of for the pork meat"

Then there are a bunch of convoluted instructions you have to follow when you actually wanna make the damn food. Some BS like "to ensure proper cooking of the pork you must burn frankincense, myrrh and other aromatics to allow the meat to absorb flavor. You must then descend into the bottom of Samsara to find the legendary mortal flame blade in order to properly cut the meat" blah blah blah


Shit is crazy man

Anyways I will be making Cantonese duck and steamed dumplings
