COPYPASTA

It's a copy and pasted block of text usually posted on a message board to troll newer users and as an inside joke between older users. Copypasta can usually be found posted in a discussion about any subject, and will usually be intended to draw out newer users into responding negatively to it, much to the amusement of more veteran users.

Copypasta might have started out as a real post somewhere, but people might have found the story so stupid or amusing that they post the exact thing years later to mess with people. It's much like a group of friends getting together to mock what another person said in the past and laughing about it.

So contrary to what Joy Behar suggested, exploring outer space makes it possible for us to study other planets and learn things that could have sense of what's happening on Earth, while also making it possible to study Earth and its climate on a scale that is necessary to see large scale patterns like climate change. Simply put, space exploration has made it possible for us to see that climate change is occurring.

Religions didn't exist back in the prehistoric age, that is because they were invented by humans later on to control other humans and create stable mind controlled societies where nobody has free will. I'm glad that Christian churches have lost their power over the years because their methods go against what makes us human. Welcome back. I missed the part where you debunk each one of those suggestions, like you do for those who criticize the pursuit for longevity/immortality. There are obvious holes in each of those democracy alternatives: Lottocracy - sounds like identity politics and the pursuit of equal outcome for everyone, and we're already seeing it doesn't work well. Should we also make sure there is an equal representation of fat/slim/short/tall/bald/hairy/unattractive people? For equality, you know. You'll never be able to divide people to enough sub-groups, until you get to the individual, which would get you back to square one. Liquidocracy - you can donate your vote? Well, then what's stopping someone from buying votes from others? (unofficially, of course). Great, let's give more reasons not to trust the voting system. Cyberocracy sounds interesting, but in the age of tech censorship, polarity, cancel culture and demonization, even moderate people can be painted as extreme and ranked appropriately, so I doubt it would work. I like this system more for deciding where my tax money goes (for example, if I could, I would rank space exploration budget higher than sports/cultural budget [where I live]). The truth is everything sounds wonderful in theory, until you start implementing it and see the flaws. As they say, the road to h3ll is paved with good intentions.

I would like to point out that by exploring and studying outer space and places beyond this pale blue dot of ours, we have been able to learn more about our own planet. Space exploration includes building rockets with which to launch planetary probes and other devices into outer space. Some of those other devices have included satellites that we are able to point towards Earth and study it, which is why NASA has been central to studying the climate and understanding climate change.

The other things is, those probes we send to other planets have taught us much about those planets which makes it easier to make sense of what is happening on Earth. When it comes to pollution and the greenhouse effect, studying Venus has helped to make sense of it all.

Because it is believed the greenhouse effect is what is responsible for the current state of Venus, particularly the fact it is the hottest planet in the solar system, even though it is further from the Sun than is Mercury. So contrary to what Joy Behar suggested, exploring outer space makes it possible for us to study other planets and learn things that could have sense of what's happening on Earth, while also making it possible to study Earth and its climate on a scale that is necessary to see large scale patterns like climate change. Simply put, space exploration has made it possible for us to see that climate change is occurring.
