Recently due to YouTube changing it's content creation policies. Many YouTube creators are getting hit by copyright strikes and fraudulent claims left and right because of use of AI-generated content and misuse of the platform's Content ID system.
This is musician and educator Adam Neely received a copyright strike from Warner Chappell Music for a segment that didn't even contain the claimed material,
Many creators uploading public domain content, like Charlie Chaplin's The Circus (1928) almost 100 year old content have also been facing unwarranted strikes and having their channels taken down.
Many of the legitimately claims are also frauded because according to fair use policies a few seconds of someone's content is perfectly fine but channels are still getting hit by copyright strikes
