I’m saying this as someone who used to want every surgery in the book. I still have a weak chin.
Why would you change your face out of self hatred in order to try and please others? There is no self love there. You become a slave where your contentment relies on how other people initially perceive you.
You get the surgery. Great. Now that you’ve “fixed” that thing, you’ll find another thing to hate. It’s an endless cycle with no good ending.
Have some self respect and own your appearance, and if other people like you as a whole package, cool. If not, cool. You are the most important person in your life. The people who get cosmetic surgery are the people who are too desperate to please others and haven’t even mastered step 1: self love.
