Could .1 tretinoin decrease my nose size (visually)

Tretinoin hasn't had any effect on sebaceous filaments for me

No, at best if u use it for a long time(months) the skin might thin a little, how ever it will reduce oiliness slightly that might reduce perceived size slightly if u have very oily skin.

no, just use accutane for better results

Isnt it just the topical version of accutane? they should have similar effects right?
It doesnt have similar effects because accutane is systemic and reaches deeper layers of your epidermis. Just go for accutane if you want the best result.

Yeah the problem with accutane is that i drink frequently and dont have acne.

if youre avoiding accutane, try using a corticosteroid, like hydrocortisone, tret WILL NOT work for an already inflamed nose. use hydrocortisone UNTIL the inflamation is gone, and to maintain the non-inflamed nose use tret daily.

hydrocortisone raises cortisol. Won’t this be a negative trade since it decreases loks?

negligible since its used topically on the part you want to reduce inflammation.
