Could clenching be a better method than chewing for increasing the masseter muscles?

I clench my teeth with a mouth guard between while using computer occasionally, it really makes my masseter muscles sore. Why don't I hear people talk about this method often.

Flared masseters actually are important. Look at Ezra Miller or Ian Somerhalder. It defines their look.

Chads have flared gonions which are bones actually.

Muscles are much softer and less angular.
Also more bone = more masseter show for many reasons, one being soft tissue stretch.

Wasn’t even correlating my statement to those two guys, but I doubt

your jaw will already have the muscle to clench, you need to chew to hypertrophy the muscle

Muscle can remodel the bone tho , and also the really wide jaws you see on models are combination of both large masseters and bigonial

This is called Kappa chewing. It's more effective imo. I'll start it soon too along with normal chewing. Muscles > bones

Masseter and temporalis muscles are directly connected to mandible and maxilla respectively. They have enough strength to push and pull your craniofacial structure
