Could fasting help medical swelling from internal wounds?

I know this isn't looksmax related but since it clashes with the medical industry often this is the only way for me to give it a shot. I have bad swelling in my face (not bloating) due to an incident. Im on 10 ibuprofens and a few paracetamols a day without eating anything in order for the swelling the go away and hopefully restore tissue faster. Would this help?
