If you force yourself into a habit of grinding and clenching teeth during your sleep and day to day life, you could see both mandible gain and Masseter hypertrophy, so making that a habit could give you insane bigonial width if you’re a jawcel, even if it can cause TMJ, I was thinking about this recently and wondering if it’s a method that’s been done before

I have a habit of pushing my lower teeth against my upper front teeth and the only thing I gained from it is a tooth gap.

and that is despite there being a metal stalk behind them.

How can you voluntarily bite in your sleep ? Why not just chew your food more and chew natural gums and whynot masseters training

i've grinded and clenched my entire childhood/adult life and my jaw is shit, all i have is pain from it and bloated masseters.

bruxism just destroys ur enamel and tmj jfl. u might hypertrophy masseters a bit but bigonial width is bone, not muscle. clenching at night wont magically widen ur jawbone. if u want wider gonial angle, either chew mastic gum or do proper masseter training, but even that only adds 1-2mm. for real change u need surgery (gonial implants, jaw surgery) or accept ur genetics. don't give urself tmj for 0.1psl.

How are you doing that with a retainer :ogre:?

it made no difference at all, I don't smile with my mouth open so straight teeth don't benefit me much.
y tf did you get it then :ogre:

What did you have clas 2 or overbite or just not straight teeth?

Bro, grinding your teeth isn't going to suddenly square up your jaw. You'll just speedrun TMJ and a trip to the dentist jfl. Bigonial width is bone, not muscle. Chew some gum if you want bigger masseters, but don't give yourself bruxism for 0.1 PSL. Accept your genetics or start saving for a jaw implant.

1-2mm is too little! If u significantly manage to hypertrophy ur masseters, u get a way wider jaw, it's like saying working out biceps gives u only 1-2mm bigger biceps:lul:

me too man, what is this called, not clenching or grinding (bruxism)
