Thats true but even then Soviets could have held out for months during the harsh winter, even if oil ran low, anti tank equipment and America joining the war would shift the balances incredibly as Soviets will receive a new supply line from America through siberia

Thats true but even then Soviets could have held out for months during the harsh winter, even if oil ran low, anti tank equipment and America joining the war would shift the balances incredibly as Soviets will receive a new supply line from America through siberia

Now what if u consider germany inciting rebellion in non russian soviet ethnic groups and simply holding against soviet counterattacks during 41-42 winter
Then taking the Caucasus in early 42
I think by the end of the year they could be in siberia
And america didnt have dominance in the pacific yet either

the siege of moscow wouldnt be as easy as you think it would be, it would look like the siege of leningrad, soviet air defense in moscow was downing all planes & every bit of soviet industry was in the urals. this would have been the biggest waste of resources for what would be a media victory. controlling stalingrad and the olga was far more important.
