I thought a girl liked me, so I told myself “I must like her back, it’s only right that I do.” I had reasons to believe she actually did. Then I got rejected two years later.

After that, I developed my second and final oneitis. She also rejected me, as soon as she found out who I was.

I would say both of them turned me down for being ugly. The first girl was nice about it, wanted to talk it out. The second girl tried to be nice about it, but she ended up giving me brutal treatment; she would just ignore me.

Even when I offered a platonic route, she DNR’d my messages. In hindsight, it was cringe but I was depressed so my judgment was clouded, I should have left it after the official rejection. In any case, she only treated me that way because I’m really ugly.

This happened five years ago. Since then, I haven’t liked anyone, but at the same time, I’ve had women like me for reasons beyond my looks, which I obviously lack.
