Could I get a social life without collage? Should I just go to collage?

I don't want to go to collage, I am in senior year of high school and I am failing 3 classes and I'm fucking horrid of studying in a class setting. It is way easier to study by myself and just do the assignment rather than have some faggoty stretched out lesson that could of been told way quicker. That being said going to collage for 4 years and not listening to lectures and taking assignments that I can't manage myself for around 100k for 4 years starts to sound kind of fucking retarded. My dad is pressuring me into going asking almost daily when I will apply for financial aid or scholarships as if I was going and not a white person who was failing highschool. equal opportunity gives jack shit only money to blacks, my dad might pay partly but I have two brothers who are also going to collage with both combined paying over 200k so I don't trust middle class wage to pay for mine.

The only reason I would want to go is for the social aspect. Without college, I might just learn a trade or just take a gap year and try to learn how to code on some medication both seemingly have no social aspect. I've told my dad I don't want to go because the classes they force are gay, I'd learn better myself, financies, I hate schooling already and am failing, and don't like the culture.

He says don't worry about the money (never saying if he will fully pay it but implying it would help financially) and that I will want to go and should. This just seems like gaslighting and makes no sense why he is so ambiguous when I am being so blunt.

Most 'friends' you're going to meet will fizzle out after the first semester or year if you're lucky. You will constantly have to meet new people to hang with but you realize that its all pointless because its all based on LMS also. College is brutal for socializing, honestly I think the idea of college being a time where you can make connections only exists because of the boomers.
Nowadays it's way different, 99% of the social circles that exist in college, exist because the kids knew each other from high school. That's why you'll see in the first day of classes the high school friends hanging put in college, while everyone else is autistic and anti social.
Honestly college is worse social wose than high school, I was social circle maxed in highschool but became perma rotter in college because I didn't know anyone.
From what it sounds like, you'll have the same if not worse experience OP. Dont go to college thinking you will socialize

You will fail college in the first year if you're failing high school already so you will end up with neither skill nor a social circle.
The worst outcome is to drop out, very likely, leading you to have no degree, no benefits, and 5 figures of college debt you will spend paying off for all of your 20s.

Yeah, you can get a social life without going. Traveling's actually the easiest way to make friends. There's always a huge group of fellow travelers that you'll naturally link up with. Some are just passing through and some are staying for a bit. You'll find that people are easier to get acquainted with because you're all in the same boat. Try backpacking through South America or something. It will change you for the better in a way that college never could.
