Could I get away with genioplasty for now?

Hey, I knew im very recessed, and a couple of surgeons recommended double jaw surgery, but was wondering if I could get away with genioplasty or chin implant till I save up for djs. Im having chin filler for a couple years now, which gave me decent results, but trying to get rid of them, and replace with something else. So ye other than that I don’t have money for djs, wondering is it worth getting genio or implant for like 5 years and then getting djs. Thanks!

When I consulted for genio, a couple of surgeons told me I needed djs, because my jaw was too far back, oneof them was (dr. Eren Pera), he said genio is still fine, but I need more.

It is absolutely not recessed. Do you have any functional issues? The filler already fucking mogs, how much did you get? Anyways, if you have functional issues I'd say djs, otherwise just get a genio.

Only snoring when sleeping, but bite is perfect, also got 4ml, thanks.

4ml is quite a lot, but then again, you are recessed. I am not, so 2ml will probably suffice in my case. Will need genio anyways next year, but getting infra-malar implants first end of this year and just want to do something that actually moves the needle quickly.

I get filler cheap, so its not a problem, but same issue that Its a temporary fix, so I guess I only need genio based on replies.

dude that filler actually mogs im ngl.

I think if you only do genio you will be fine since youre not that recessed from your upper jaw. I think usually the issue becomes when you only get genio and you have a noticeable recessed upper jaw it tends to look like unproportionate.
If you look fine with only chin filler then I would assume genio by itself is enough.

I would get more opinions from more reputable surgeons regarding Bimax. Assuming you've done CBCT scans already.

I would, but don’t have the money and time this year, and my filler is slowly dissolving so need something to replace it this summer preferably.
