I’ve learned guitar self taught. Just start off learning songs you like. Not gonna happen over night but just stay consistent. You got it brah

easy asf to learn it just use tabs to read, and practice a lot

It’s not hard it just takes consistency for your muscle memory to take over

I haven’t touched mine since I was like 15, but I had fun by learning chords at first, learn power chords too, you can leave bar chord for later as your fingers build calluses

And learn a scale, I think it’s called pentatonic, you can have a lot of fun just freestyling off that one and it just takes a few weeks you won’t even have to look anymore

Obviously start slow. But learn what works best for you. I like watching videos on how they play the song and I’ll slow the video down and gradually speed it up till I can do it without the video

you can start with whatever you would like. if you like rock buy an electric. if you want to play campfire songs buy an acoustic or classical. if you want to play flamenco buy a classical.

id suggest starting on an electric. its easier and more versatile. an epiphone SG or fender strat are the 2 main beginner guitars. id go for the stratocaster or telecaster
