Physical touch increases serotonin which helps you sleep. My mother didn't love me and hug me when I was a kid, so I would just lay there and look up at the ceiling for hours on end. Now that I'm adult I still don't have anyone to cuddle with and I still can't sleep at night.
Is my inability to sleep the fault of others for not cuddling me and making me feel safe and comfortable?
