Spending too much time at the gym, would rather spend my time doing other things

like rotting

No, do low volume failure for every set still just dont use his volume jfl

99% of his gains came from roids and genes, just like most bodybuilders ever.

U can't copy a bodybuilder's program and expect good results as a natty.
It's not that easy.

No I had one of his books that I sold for a huge profit when the hype came around he legit says you should train less and less as he 'refined' his style so if you think training one muscle group once a week is optimal (at the most) be my guest you will make fck all progress

Even for enhanced bodybuilders his methodology is sub optimal

I don’t mean copy his program verbatim obviously.

Just meant his ideology of high ass intensity to failure, and going to the gym less

Rather than going daily and waisting a bunch of time doing low-moderate intensity like I’m doing now

What do u recommend for balancing the most gains for putting in the least amount of effort

equilibrium point per se

His way of lifting could work, but is prob less optimal.

It all comes down to your personal preferences in the end, I don't like spending much time at the gym either.
So I'm more of a low volume higher intensity guy.

Vilume is literally kang brah
I did lifting for 7 months and i supposedly overtrained my glutes by squatting and deadlifting twice a week but instead they just got fucking massive

I will save you all the time looking into it bro, if you want to do the more lower volume high intensity training perhaps look at Dorian more, his style has been copied by guys like John Meadows who basically program it in a way that you do minimal warm ups, but you still warm up, so say as you get closer to your working weight instead of doing 15 reps, 12, etc. you just do like 4 to prep your mind to handle the weight then you hit say two super heavy failure sets that would be the framework for an exercise. And train like 4 days a week.

My guy

Preciate it brotha

The program from John Meadows I'm referring too, which can be found for free is Project Colossus

I don't like his exercise selection personally but it gives you an idea of reps, sets, exercises and frequency

Do 2 light sets of 20 here to warm up. After this start increasing weight. Do
sets of 6, until you reach a weight that you think will be a pretty tough 8. That
is your money set. I want you to do around 8, where 8 is failure. If you do 7
or 9, that’s ok, I just need that last rep to be failure with good form. If you get
10 or more, you didn’t go heavy enough. After you do your 8, drop the weight
20% and eke out as many more reps as you can. One unique thing I do on here
that really helps me feel these too, when I lower the weight, I try to slow it
down and lower it with my lats. You just feel them open up. I treat my arms
as simple attachments. If you really focus on this, you’ll get it. Once you get it,
you will notice a much faster and bigger pump in your lats!
1 total work set
This is an example of
what it could look like:
80 x 20
80 x 20
120 x 6
160 x 6
200 x 8, then 160 x 6
This set is an RPE of 11
Goal – Activation and start pump

I just copy pasted part of his pdf you see what i mean
