This site is like 90% right-wing, so do you think you could beat Dean Withers or any other leftist influencer in a debate?

I personally feel like I could, but he could definitely beat most right-wingers just because of how retarded they are.

But at the same time, the only way that these people win is by making up these questions that just make people look retarded like, "Zohran Mamdani wants to teach children Arabic numerals, what do you think of that?" , and of course the right winger falls for it even though it doesn't prove anything except make them look dumb. Same with the low IQ dolphin fetus thing.

But if you know your shit, you could easily win.

It's really just an argument on what beating someone in a debate means.

If it means changing there opinion, you will almost never win because nobody will ever change their mind.

The amount of "free thinkers", that are willing to admit that they're wrong is very slim.

But from a more objective point of view, you can obviously tell who won, and who's the idiot.

I guess that would be considered more "besting" someone in a debate.

I read a lot on communism. I looked at failing communist countries, realized where they were messing up and realized they were still closer to my ideal society than capitalist countries were. I think the ideal society would be something between communism and socialism. All necessities paid for and a recreational currency with capitalist reminiscent wages, meaning harder jobs get paid more to incentivize hard work.

I read a lot on communism. I looked at failing communist countries, realized where they were messing up and realized they were still closer to my ideal society than capitalist countries were. I think the ideal society would be something between communism and socialism. All necessities paid for and a recreational currency with capitalist reminiscent wages, meaning harder jobs get paid more to incentivize hard work.

Yeah, I'm definitely not as opposed to it as most right-wingers, especially National Socialism (even though that's not really the same thing), but it's still extremely flawed, and I'm overall against it.

You said to just pay the harder jobs higher wages, but if a job pays more, everyone will try to get that job. If loads of people have the hard skill and are getting payed more money, then everyone would want that job. Then the "easier jobs" will be neglected because everyone would want more money. You would then have to either make easy jobs pay more, or force people to do them, and then you're back where you started.

If there's any money involved, it will end up becoming capitalism anyways.

I don't think any communist country has gotten anywhere close to succeeding, let alone being as good as a capitalist country. The poorest people in capitalist countries still have food, water, and shelter, and a person in that situation could almost always enter at least the middle class by working hard enough.
