Couldn’t i just choose isolation?

why do i have to ascend and spend all my money for hard max when i could just choose a job that would let me stay isolated from people forever, or gain status through academic accomplishments and be able to fund an isolated life? if society has a imbedded discrimination against ugly people then i should just abandon society, no?
