Covering up sides of head on eye/eyebrow level creates a HUGE halo for me

No idea what they are called but my cheek bones that are below this area make them appear smaller and inwards, any ideas on how to looksmax in this area?

your head is too wide and covering the sides of it up makes it look thinner.
