I heard it destroys your bones, give you acne, lower T lvls - it can be true or true in situation when you drink milk post child/teen
But i also heard it makes you taller, healthier bluh bluh - it can be false because of marketing

I just do not recommend the consumption of milk due to a variety of concerns. My acne was a lot more severe when I consumed milk and I assume it contributed a lot to my acne. However not everyone gets it from milk so the results vary a lot. Milk contains real mammalian estrogen that also gets absorbed into our bodies so I would not recommend it even if it had no relation to acne

What about other milk products like cheese? Are they bad in terms of hormones too? Or safe?

I'd argue that meat is healthy but besides that yeah. Just eat a lot of beans, lentils, vegetables, fruits, whole grain bread etc.
Also supplement vitamin B12 (in addition you could also supplement zinc and vitamin D3 in the winter time).

It's definitely bad for you if you use it past growth age. I used to get nightmares uncontrollable hormonal acne.

But it keeps you calm helps you sleep and if you can digest it definitely makes you taller.
Used to drink 4-5 glasses a day

Get organic milk and drink it sparingly. All these guys talking about it having estrogen in it is bullshit. Almonds have higher levels of estrogen for fuck sake. As for acne yeah stay away from it but it isn't a problem of you drink it sparingly and buy organic

I drank a ton of skim milk as a teenager (it's what my family bought, I would rectify this if I could go back). I'm about 1-2 inches taller than my blood-related male relatives, so maybe that had something to do with it. However, my diet was terrible and probably hypocaloric during prime growth years (13-14), whereupon I started eating a ton at 14-15 as my growth was slowing. No idea what effect any of this stuff had.

After years of not drinking milk, I have reintroduced whole milk back into my diet. Regarding acne, different foods seem to give me different patterns. I do notice a proliferation on my forehead after drinking milk sometimes, but they are small, barely visible (mostly after showering), and few in number. Most of my acne was on my forehead during my milk-drinking years as an adolescent. If I eat a ton of almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, etc. in a short period I will notice pustules come up along my cheekbones, particularly the left. I suspect this is due to omega-6 fatty acid content of seed oils, so be wary of replacing cow's milk with s:soy:y milk or something. I had a really bad resurgence of this pattern at ~20 during a period of eating a ton of peanuts and tahini, which is where I made the connection.

Regarding calcium, beans and pulses are not the best way to get it as they are loaded with phosphorus (important in bone calcium homeostasis - cow's milk also has a lot though). If you go this route, blackeyed peas and lentils have the least calcium, while Phaseolus vulgaris cultivars like Kidney, Black, etc. have pretty good calcium content. Greens (collard especially, I believe) are high in calcium, but you will need to eat a lot to get the amount you need. I used to get foot cramps doing some kinds of calisthenics that have disappeared since drinking milk again (maybe owing to calcium's involvement in muscle contraction). In my experience, milk is the best food source of calcium. You can also look into supplements, and for B12 as well (or nutritional yeast).

Mammalian estrogens might be a concern. I've heard there's more in organic milk than factory farm milk, actually.

They do, but those are phytoestrogens. Likely binds receptors, etc. very differently.

Drink goat milk and eat goat/sheep dairy (goat cheese, roquefort if you like blue cheese, goat milk yogurt), goat milk is naturally A2 and has way less estrogen. Instead of cow's milk, it's beneficial for skin.

I stopped cow milk years ago. Gave me tons of issues including acne. I can do without it just fine and there are other sources of calcium and protein.

elaborate bhai, everybody say stuff and its opposite

Raw Milk vs. Pasteurized Milk
1. Raw milk
2. Pasteurized milk
Enzymes
1. All available in Raw milk
2. Less than 10% remaining

Proteins
1. 100% available, all 22 amino acids, including 8 that are essential
2. Lysine and tyrosine are altered by heat with serious loss of metabolic availability. Results in making protein complex less available for tissue repair and rebuilding

Fats
1. 18 fatty acids metabolically available, both saturated and unsaturated
2. Altered by heat, especially the 10 essential unsaturated fats

Vitamins
1. 100% available
2. Many vitamins loss caused by heating above blood temperature. Loss can run as high as 66%, vitamin C loss is over 50%

Carbohydrates
1. Easily utilized in metabolism
2. Changes made elements less available metabolically

a bit of raw milk should be beneficial if one has Eurasian or Middle-Eastern ancestry due to how ingrained it was in many of those peoples' diets

I used to drink a gallon a day to gain weight and I always drank a lot of milk as a kid. I am not sure how it affected me tbh I grew a lot like 3 inches past my father. Studies show you would have to drink a shit ton for the estrogen to have an actual effect on you. It's a good source of calcium vitamin D and protein. I never heard that it was bad for bones actually I heard the opposite, I guess one could argue that it doesn't promote bone remodeling and the estrogen and IGF-1 work together to maintain bone and inhibit osteoblast activity allowing yourself to not grow any new bone. Id like to know more about milks true effect because it has probably been the biggest component to my diet my entire life. but just remember genetics > diet and if milk is an evil thing than everyone would of suffered.
