Yes, when you train with heavy weights. Training with body weight isn’t so bad, but progress will halt after a while.

I recommend you train your neck laterally, which will give you the side thickness you desire, with less of a worry of spinal damage.

Remember, with any sort of neck training long term, you run the risk of sleep apnea (since your neck is bigger).

Looks like he still kept growing / maturing (different age photos I guess) and was gonna become a robust Chadlite anyways. He had a strong neck even before gymcelling.

You cant just gymcel yourself to a physique you desire. If you think that all normies have to do is get a otoplasty and gymcel to become Chadlite, youre quite deluisional.

Selective bias with this post. You can find thousands of pictures of men who got otoplasty + gymceled and still look like shit.

Do you know how the nerve damage comes about? Like can you feel it coming? Or do you just wake up one day and realize your neck is fucked

I started off with a sub 14" neck so training mine from all angles is essential. I'm 15" now and need one more inch for my goal

5 kg sounds good.

It comes about suddenly. You wake up with a really sharp pain, and your neck is difficult/impossible to move.

having big ears is worst thing that can happen to your looks, I know a guy that was 3 years older than me who was 6'2, chiselled face, wide shoulders and decent muscle, good hair, charismatic and smart but he had huge dumbo ears so he never got a girlfriend. As soon as he turned 18 he got an otoplasty and went from like 4/10 to 9/10 model tier looks. From his instagram i can see hes deleted every pic before he got his ears fixed and he slays as shown by him having a constant stream of pics at parties with girls
