Imagine you are beeing searched for by the FBI, for some crime youve commited and will end you up in prison for a lifetime

You are still on free foot, but you wont be able to ever to be in Times Square again, you will never be able to chill at parks. Getting your fav food/drink

Not even listen to your favorite songs again, as you have to keep your identity as hidden as possible

And now youre staying at some place full of adrenaline, regretting everything youve done. Looking back at the times where you could freely enjoy your time

And now youre trapped, in an ultimate danger zone. And you will never ever be able to do your usual things, despite techically beeing physically capeable of doing


Now obv if we are talking Well you shouldnt have done it in the first place thats a different topic

But even there, imagine you accidentally crashed into someone killing them

And you have to live with this unbearable feeling

the freedom is practically gone altogether.


You could physically walk there, but the moment you try to get to that environment, you're exposed to systems that can identify or locate you. So in practical terms, you cannot go there.


That's what makes the situation so surreal: your legs still work, youre still physically capable of walking into Times Square, ordering your favorite food, sitting in a park, etc. but the life in which those actions were possible is gone.
