Crazy how people treat you better, the better you look

But just had to share cuz Everytime it happens, it surprises me so much


I just shawed and debloated but I instantly received more attention

I moved to Germany so my German still isn't great and people usually judge you negatively for that...


But today they didn't wait for me to say something (got some errands done), they greeted me with a smile

Even when they realized I'm not German, they still continued smiling and generally being kind


Ik It doesn't much, especially to Americans, but here people are generally cold and unwelcoming, so it's a shock

From strangers it's not so surprising. It's the most noticeable with immediate family members that have some sort-of unconditional love for you, and always prioritize you over the bunch

Receiving such affection and favoritism because they look better than their siblings & cousins while the others are their own flesh & blood too is crazy

Pretend you're tourist from Britain or America, Germans consider them "upper class" nation compared to most other countries

They are kind to tourists, I always noticed they're much kinder if you speak good English compared to broken German
