Why is it always the same shit, punishments should actually help society while also punishing the guilty and deterring the innocent from becoming guilty. I know there are things like community service but things like that should be scaled up and used more frequently. When countries are having to release criminals from prison early because the prisons are full, does that not show you that changes should be made? Sitting in ur own home or in a prison cell helps nobody. I’d rather be turned into a slave for 10 years than rot in a cell for that same time. Only the worst of the worst should have to go to prison and it should be more solitary.
