Cross bite damon braces

So I recently got diagnosed with cross bite,
My ortho offered damon braces for both upper and lower set.
I’ve heard mixed opinions about it.
Is it generally a looksmax?
I lack in my lower third( bad ramus, recessed chin and TMJ clicking) and lack lower maxilla support for my lips.
Should I get it or are there better alternatives?

wondering bout the same shit but i got a slight mandibular recession and will get bands
