crossbite's affect on facial aestethics.

I have straight teeth besides the fact I have a crossbite. Not sure if I should get braces to fix the crossbite or not. Not sure if the crossbite is causing any facial problems either. I want other people's opinions on a crossbite's affect on facial aesthetic here.

I have crossbite and my orthodontist doesn't wanna treat me until im 16, which i find stupid because then my sutures will harden. My maxilla is recessed and downgrown so why doesnt he wanna help me? Idfk but to answer your question, for me it made my left side of mandible wider because I have an asymmetrical palate which i think is also the cause of crossbite. I would think it would make the left side profile better than the right side but I don't know since my tonsils are only swollen on the left side side so i can't really tell if it does..
