So, I've heard people fearmongering about how crushed E2 is so bad for brain health and cognitive functions, but I also don't want my growth plates to close prematurely.
In several studies with boys taking 2.5 mg of letrozole daily, no significant cognitive impairment occurred. This trial lasted two years. Most people are staying on aromatase inhibitors (AIs) for longer if they are younger, therefore, hence my question.
Would a moderate testosterone dose of 220–250 mg a week, plus letrozole to stop any testosterone from converting back to estrogen, be effective?
I've heard countless people saying letrozole is bad for you. Many boys ran letrozole at 2.5 mg and had no bone density issues. Now, the reason why is because they had high testosterone—around a 1200 ng/dL mean average—which caused them to build bones quicker than the placebo group.
Boys with tall stature from 1960 to 2000 were also given high dosages of TRT, sometimes 500 mg every two weeks, to shut their growth plates. This only reduces final adult height by around 1 to 2 inches, so an AI will at most add about 2 to 3 inches compared to running testosterone alone.
