CS vs Engineering

Yeah I am still stuck on math or CS/CE.

I am 2 months away from getting a web dev job. I've gotten a few interviews and almost made it. I already worked an internship for 2 months paying minimum wage before and they said they will hire me for full time work this summer.

Can't I just worked a part time Web dev job and do a math degree? I feel like the information that would get me would be better then modern CS classes

why do you even want a math degree?

Also, if you say engineering, which engineering discipline (mech, chem, ee, etc) would say is best, namely, from a jobs prospect standpoint (versatility)?
both are incel degrees

Hoping to crack HFT this intern season, decision to pursue grad school is contingent upon quality of full-time offers leading up unto graduation.

Tl dr, u r mentally retarded
I read you’re entire arguement and you just just embody soyness.

When people here complain about CS students I imagine they’re talking about people like you JFL

“Total Comp” is fucking bullshit cant fucking believe they’re allowed to inflate salary numbers with their stock compensation

why? how is it not pushing people into a inefficient program and making them think for themselves soy? if anything talking people into going to university to be sponfeed crap you can learn on your own much faster is the soy thing

Employers don’t give a fuck at muh efficient you taught yourself. Do you think the fat fuck at HR is going to look through all your projects JFL.

As soon as she sees the CS degree at reputable university it’s wraps you’ve pretty much lost

Thankfully here in the UK apprenticeships exist so you can become a swe and self teach

Would slightly pushback on this. It can be very difficult to learn computer theory solo, especially topics such as low latency. But then again, much of this is dependent upon what roles / company one is looking to pursue.

Most if not all of the listed salaries are not factoring stock into the TC

Engineering if you actually do have an interest in hardware/manufacturing or if you wish to take on an interesting route in consulting (i.e Engineering undergrad plus MBA in the future : specialize in engineering field plus business acumen from a respectable target school MBA will land you a fat gig in consulting)

Otherwise CS.

you'll be self-learning at a university anyways lol

university is a supplement for your learning

University is a waste of time, it's not a supplement for anything, you don't need to be in a class surrounded by retards and having to endure watching an ugly old zombie deformed by aging talk about stuff that you can learn on your own by reading from an e-book (physical books are obsolete), university classes also skip on a lot of content, e.g: you take a linear algebra class and come out not knowing anything about dual spaces

Anyone studying computer architecture, system designs and/or computational complexity theory? If so, list some resources.

In Turkey it’s cs is engineering besides one uni(sabanci) lol. So we get cucked by calculus and physics anyway(unnecessary)

Same thing in US — most CS majoring resides in the universities College of Eng.
