Is a lower face 3D scan enough for bimax consultation (or even planning)?

Ideally full skull since you need to understand how all the features of the face comes together.

Does it even show your entire jaw?
Anyway, no, I don't think it is. I got one like this (although it didn't show my entire jaw, it cut off like 1/4 of the ramus), and Alfaro's employee said it was worthless because it didn't show entire skull. I assumed the place I went to get it would know what I needed but they literally just had some random dental tech give me some random scan. I didn't even get to talk to a dentist. I filed a chargeback with my bank, but they sided with the facility. $300 wasted.

Although I think Ramieri will consult without any images at all, at least first consult.

I’m getting it for free on the NHS but good to know I shouldn’t waste £200 on a consult when I don’t have a full face one.

I’ll post the scan I get when I get it I suppose.
