Curious about the Forsus Spring

Does anyone have any information on a Forsus Spring. I’ve become unable to have a Herbst appliance applied to me because of my Orthodontist’s incompetence and recently I’ve learned of the Forsus Spring. My overbite is severe and I haven’t seen any movement with the rubber bands I’ve been told to wear. I fear that if I use the Forsus Spring, It’ll just mask the problem instead of correcting the overbite. Does anyone know if the Forsus Sprint actually works or is it just bullshit?

Nevermind, it’s just bullshit. It pushes the jaw forward, yes, but actively pulls the Upper Molars and Upper Teeth Backwards.
