Looking for some advice
Current skin concerns: No active acne, apart from some very minor closed comedones. Post inflammatory ertheyma mainly and a small amount of what I think is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. These two issues are what I'm really trying to fix and is what is holding my skin back from being great.
Note that I have very acne prone skin.
The routine I'm starting:
Already using 20mg isotretinoin to guarantee no acne, however I'm going to drop back down to 10mg ed now that I am using this routine, as I don't want to compromise my skin barrier- and I also want to run isotretinoin permanently , so 10mg will be more sustainable in regard to liver health.
Topicals- Cleanser moisturizer spf 50 of course
Azelaic acid 20% (already using 15% and having no issues hence the %increase)
tazarotene 0.1%
hydroquinone 4%- likely for 2 months on then stop use- will only use on targeted areas not whole face
Microneedling every 4 weeks did my first session at home 2 ish weeks ago but probably will wait until my skin is used to these actives before I do another
How do you guys think I should introduce these actives in terms of frequency?
