I hate seeing couples in public when I’m alone. I know they aren’t actually trying to rub it in my face, but that’s what it feels like. It’s like they’re walking around with something I’ll probably never get to experience. Every time I see people holding hands, hugging, or just looking genuinely happy together, it reminds me of everything I’m missing.
Maybe that’s why I end up chasing women so much. It’s not because I’m trying to sleep around or because I want attention; I’m just desperate to know what it feels like to have a real connection with someone. I keep hoping the next person will finally be the one who stays, but all it does is make me look like some kind of slut or player. I was just chasing the feeling of finally being loved by someone, and somehow I always end up right back where I started.
