Cutting in puberty.

Im gonna go on a very small deficit. Im gonna be losing about .5 pounds a week. Rn im 13, 5'10, and like 155-160. Hopefully I get down to around 148, factoring in how much I might grow in the time it takes 150 could also be fine. Is this retarded and will I stunt my growth, should i deal with the extra fat. Or should I do the cut.

You shouldn't "cut", especially during puberty. I'd much rather you have wider shoulders & more developed facial bones/hormones than do stupid shit like this during development.

Untrue. Small deficits around 500 kcal are completely fine for development. Better to cut down a little bit than to be fat.

cut when 16+ anything under that age surplus

Calories don't really mean anything. I'm also talking about this in the context of these gymcels. Most of them eat like shit, so they're malnourished nutritionally speaking anyway.

Calories are really the only thing that matters lol. I get where you're coming from tho but if he maximizes nutrient intake instead of eating slop while staying in a deficit it's much better than staying fat. Regardless of age

It's true, working out in itself is stressful. The average gymcel eats like shit & is depriving themselves of nutrients & other compounds. Don't even get me started on light-environment.
