I've done my research on cysteamine cream and from what i can tell its a potent, sulphur containing skin lightening agent that acts a strong tyrosinase and peroxidase inhibitor to treat hyperpigmentation. So even if there is an infraorbital recession which is creating that darkness. Logically speaking prolonged use should act as a viable fraud giving you lightened under eyes to an extent.

Also i kind of wanted to hear everyone thoughts on cysteamine creams as well as a good one to go for as most of the ones i found are capped at 3%.

would it be too harsh on the under eyes?

In theory it would be harsher than something like azelaic acid as it premise is to make sure that stubborn under eye darkness lightens.
