Bro my dad is norwood 6 like genuinely and he's always on my ass for a haircut, the least I could do is grow out so when the norwood reaper stabs my follicles the damage wont be insane.

My mom exaggerates and says my hair reaches my eyes which is false. in the shower it doesnt, and when it dries I have shrinkage because I have curly hair.

This happened to me for about 6 years. I grew out my hair, and EVERY SINGLE DAY I went to the barber. I came back and my parents were unhappy. Sometimes bro I had to literally go back to the barber and cut more hair. The thing is. Even when I got the style my parents wanted, they kept saying it looks good it looks good. But at school I felt like the grim reaper was behind me everyday.

So how did I save it? I tried to grow out my hair for 6 years and I tried I tried I tried and eventually they gave up because my face acended and long hair started looking good on me and they didnt continue to bug me. I realised days I woke up chopped were also the days they were bugging me. Just acend bro. This is a long term thing if ur father is ignorant about what hairstyles fit people just like my father was then you have to be patient and ascend so you can get freedom
