your not wrong actually father issues has made me resentful towards men. i project my own insecurities on other's. but the thing you said with finding another fatherly figure, i don't think i can. being seen as sonlike figure by another man, someone who respects me, loves me etc all feel so alien and out of my imagination, my father was always absent too busy with work. i really had no idea parents were supposed be by your side guide you through life. I had to do it all alone.
