In the gym, you can decline bench heavier weight than you can flat bench. You can flat bench heavier weight than you can incline bench. You can incline bench heavier weight than you can overhead press.
Downward punches generate more force than upward punches. A manlet has a disadvantage in a fight against a tall man not only because of bodyweight and reach but also because of the angle of force production.
